Scottish Royalty?

If you search the database you may ask yourself this question.

The Kings of Scotland show up in my family ancestry as well as other families in the Odon Indiana area. From my understanding, some people of Scottish descent settled in Greene County around Scotland Indiana.

My Great Grandfather, John Thomas Pruett, married into the royal  bloodline when he married Drucilla Richardson. John Abe Laughlin brought the blood into the Laughlins when he married Mary Jane Duncan in Pennsylvania, she had royal blood. He moved to Virginia and then to Tennessee.

Abe's son, John D. Laughlin moved to Kentucky, his grandson Joseph Gillis Laughlin moved to Indiana. Joseph's daughter, Sarah Nancy Laughlin, is the mother of Drucilla Richardson.

So the Royal Scottish bloodline brought to the area by the Laughlins along time ago.  there are even more families now as these families have married and had children and this was generations ago. This was one of my most shocking genealogical finds. According to the research, King James of the King James Bible, is the grandson of one of our ancestors King James Stuart II. This research was done by Bob Francis and can be found at the gencircles website.

Click the "Our Genealogy" button to follow the the Laughlin bloodline all the way back to what is believed to be the Vikings.

This information is the research of many people across the United States and may contain errors. It is presented as the best information to date. Like all of those whose work I have incorporated herein, my research is a work in progress and subject to change without notice. A special thanks to Marlene Ricci of CA, Dwayne Meyer of CA, Jacqueline Bean of TX, Debbie Dick of IN, Milus Miller of IL, Carol Hendricks Miller of IN, Clarence Miller of IN, and Harold Glen Miller of IN. There are numerous others too; many of which are unknown, but their findings and stories are still much appreciated. Much of this would not have been possible with out their information. Also this website includes historical facts gathered from Washington County History, Indiana History, Rowan County and Salisbury North Carolina Historical sources and other US Historical sources.
